Computer – Application operation has timed out "Would you like to retry operation?" But still fails!

Occasionally, without warning, while working in our accounting software or other applications, we may get the following error – “An application operation has timed out would you like to retry operation?” But when we try clicking “Retry” still fails.
Some Solutions

Close down computer or re-start – has worked at times.

Opening your Windows Control Panel >> Administrator Tools >> Services.
Once on the Services Window, scroll down to the application/software you were using, Right click and select to "Start Service".
